Special Event at Grissom Space Center

(Bonne Terre, MO) Organizers of the Bonne Terre Space Museum, and Grissom Center, are holding a special event July 22nd in connection with the Big River Chautauqua. German defector, and Aerospace Engineer, Dr. Wernher von Braun, one of the characters featured at this year's Chautauqua event, will be presented by Larry Bounds. The Director of the museum, Earl Mullins, says this is a great opportunity to visit the museum and hear Bounds become von Braun.

Bounds says the process of bringing von Braun to life, has taken several years.

The museum's special presentation is held on the last day of the Big River Chautauqua, Saturday, July 22nd, and it begins at 11 am.
