St. Francois County ATV Wreck

(St. Francois County, MO) A Bonne Terre man, 24 year old Dallas L. Downs, is seriously injured after he was involved in a one vehicle crash with an all terrain 4 wheel vehicle Monday evening at 6:15 in St. Francois County. Highway Patrol records show Downs was driving south on Berry Road, at Shannon Road, when the ATV ran off the road while attempting to avoid another vehicle that was turning onto a private drive. The ATV crashed into a tree and Downs was thrown off. He was not wearing a helmet when the crash took place. Downs was flown to Mercy Hospital at St. Louis.
