St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - St. Francois County voters will cast their ballots in the primary elections as they go to the polls August 6.
According to sample ballots from St. Francois County Clerk, Kevin Engler, contested Republican races in St. Francois County feature Tim Harris, Jasen Crump, Jeff Crites, and current Sheriff, Dan Bullock, running to be on the ballot in November.
Other races in the county include incumbent County Commissioner of District 2, David Kater as he faces challenger Michael Barton II. Judge Jerel Poor is running against Brice Sechrest for Judge of District 1 of the 24th Circuit Court.
In the race for St. Francois Township Committeeman Chuck Dodson faces off against Kyle Smith.
Information from the Missouri Secrtetary of State's website indicates individuals voting in the Primary Election may select a party ballot of their choice. Voters who do not wish to select a party ballot may request a ballot containing other issues, if their jurisdiction’s ballot contains issues.
The three established parties in Missouri are: Republican, Democratic, and Libertarian.
