St. Francois County Budget Approved

(Farmington, MO) The budget for St. Francois County's new fiscal year is approved. The County's presiding Commissioner, Harold Gallaher, says they anticipate an estimated revenue of $44 million.

Gallaher explains estimated expenses for the budget are in excess of $37 million. The budget was approved at Tuesday's St. Francois County Commission meeting. The county's fiscal budget runs from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. In  other business at the meeting The Union Contract was approved and Floodplain Manager, Bob Turner, was honored for gaining a special certificate of training.
