St. Francois County City Issues April Election

(St. Francois County, MO) There are several issues on the April ballot for municipalities in the Parkland. Voters in Bismarck will decide the fate of a one half of one percent sales tax. If approved the funds received would be used for public safety through the Bismarck Police Department. In Desloge voters are being asked to okay a 3% sales tax on retail sales of adult use marijuana sold in the city limits. A sales tax of 1% on commercial businesses is being put before Iron Mountain Lake voters. The tax would be put into the General Fund for the purpose of funding city improvements and maintaining city duties.
