St. Francois County Commission Awards Opioid Commission Funding

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Francois County Commission approved three applications for just under $200,000 in opioid commission funding at its latest meeting Monday.

SEMO Behavioral Health received $98,000, the SFC Community Partnership receieved $25,000, and the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department received $72,997.17.

Presiding Commissioner Harold Gallaher says the awards worked nicely in meeting the goals of the commission.

Other business at Monday's meeting included a request for bids regarding an interview system for inmates at the jail, and the renewal of earthquake insurance for the county. The commission will meet again next Tuesday.
