St. Francois County Emergency Management Monitors Iron Mountain Lake Spillway, Urges Caution

Iron Mountain Lake, Mo. (KFMO) - St. Francois County Emergency Management officials are keeping a close watch on the Iron Mountain Lake Spillway following Monday's heavy rainfall. While the water level has receded since last night, authorities emphasize that monitoring will continue until the weather fully clears and rain has moved out of the area.

For public safety, the department is asking residents to avoid driving past any barricades placed near the spillway and other affected areas.

Officials remind residents to stay updated on any developments and thank the community for their patience and support during this time.
