St. Francois County Friday Wreck

St. Francois Co., Mo (KFMO) - A 71-year- old Fredericktown man, Cletus A. Pingel, is recovering from moderate injuries after he was hurt in a two pickup crash Friday afternoon at 5:25 p.m.  in St. Francois County.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports show a truck being driven east on Hidebrecht Road, west of Hoehn Road, by Pingel, slid across the center of the road and crashed into the front of a pickup driven west by 58-year-old Francis J. Kniffig.

Pingel, who was wearing a seat belt during the wreck, was taken to Parkland Health Center at Farmington. Kniffig was not injured.
