St. Francois County Highway 67 Wreck

(St. Francois County, MO) Two Valles Mines residents, 32 year old Dawn M. Young, and 31 year old William G. Young, are recovering from injuries they received in a three vehicle wreck Friday afternoon in St. Francois County. Highway Patrol records show all three vehicles were southbound on Highway 67, at Stormy Lane, at 4:50 pm, when 69 year old Robert W. Young failed to yield to slowing traffic. The front of his SUV struck the rear of a car driven south by 27 year old Blake D. Thomas, of Farmington pushing his car into a third vehicle driven by 74 year old Marjorie E. Johnson of Leadwood. William Young received serious injuries and Dawn Young was moderately injured. They were both taken to Parkland Health Center at Bonne Terre. Johnson and Thomas received minor injuries. Thomas was taken to Parkland Health Center at Farmington and Johnson was transported to Parkland Health Center at Bonne Terre.
