St. Francois County Shooting Investigation

(Park Hills, MO) St. Francois County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting that took place Wednesday on Jefferson Street, in the area of Highway "O', outside Park Hills City Limits. A press release from St. Francois County Sheriff's Chief Deputy, Lt. Greg Armstrong, indicates On December 13th Deputies responded to an address on Jefferson Street outside the City of Park Hills for a Burglary in progress. On scene Deputies found a victim with a gunshot wound. It was discovered the victim of the gunshot wound was burglarizing the residence on Jefferson Street. The gunshot victim was flown to St Louis for medical treatment. The Investigation is ongoing and as a result no names, or identifying information is being released.
