St. Francois County Two Vehicle Crash

(St. Francois County) A Farmington woman, 29 year old Courtney A. Miley, is suffering serious injuries after she was hurt in a two vehicle crash in St. Francois County Saturday at 5 pm. Troopers with the Highway Patrol say Miley was driving east on Highway 8, west of Hunt Street, when she lost control of her car and it crossed over the center of the road striking the front of a pick up driven west by 68 year old James K. Smith of Potosi. Miley's car ran off the road after the crash. She was taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis. Miley and Smith were both wearing a seat belt when the wreck took place.
