Statewide Unofficial Election Results

(Jefferson City, MO) Missouri State Attorney General Eric Schmitt will be going to Washington as the new United States Senator from the state after Missourians approved his bid for the position by giving him 55% of the vote in Tuesday's elections. He'll fill the seat left open by the retiring Roy Blunt. The race for State Auditor was won by Scott Fitzpatrick and the race for United States Congressman of the Eighth District was won by incumbent Jason Smith. Fitzpatrick picked up 59% of the votes and Smith was supported with almost 76% of the votes cast in the race going to him.
