Ste. Genevieve County Accident

(Ste. Genevieve County, MO.) A woman from Ste. Genevieve, 55 year old Alice R. Bequette, is recovering from serious injuries after she was hurt in a wreck that took place at 10:40 Saturday morning on Highway 61 at Village Drive in Ste. Genevieve County. Highway Patrol reports indicate Bequette was driving her minivan South on Highway 61 when stopped to make a left hand turn onto Village Drive. A truck driven south by 18 year old Matthew T. Huck, also of Ste. Genevieve, failed to stop and crashed into the rear of Bequette's van. A third vehicle, an S.U.V. , was struck by debris from the crash. Bequette was the only person injured and she was taken to Mercy Jefferson Hospital. Her van was totaled.
