Ste. Genevieve County Fatal Wreck

(Ste. Genevieve County, MO) A man from Ste. Genevieve, 21 year old Billie R. Nickelson, is dead after he was killed when his car slammed head on into a diesel truck Wednesday morning just before 5 o'clock in Ste. Genevieve County. According to Highway Patrol reports Nickelson was driving east on Route Z, at St. Mary Church, when his car crossed over the centerline into the path of the diesel driven west by 56 year old Darrel R. Defreitas, of Carbondale, IL. He was not injured. Nickelson was pronounced dead at the scene.
