Sunday Afternoon Washington County Crash

(Washington County, MO) A 7 year old boy from Caledonia, and a woman from Potosi, 35 year old Ashley N. Litton, are in serious condition after an ATV accident in Washington County Sunday afternoon just after 4 o'clock. Highway Patrol reports show the ATV was headed west on Lovers Lane at Drury Road. The ATV was being driven by 29 year old Katie M. Halbert of Caledonia when she lost control of the vehicle in a curve. It rolled over and ran off the left side of the road. The 7 year old was taken to St. Louis Children's Hospital. Litton was flown to Mercy Hospital South. Another passengers in the ATV, 24 year old Rachelle P. Mell of Farmington, and Halbert, received minor injuries. Mell was taken to Parkland Health Center at Farmington while Halbert was transported to Parkland Health at Bonne Terre. The 7 year old boy was the only occupant wearing a safety device.
