Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, a New Hampshire Democrat, questioned Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Elbridge Colby about the decision to join Israel in striking Iran and the potential for U.S. troops in Iran. She also asked Colby about the war in Ukraine.
The State Department urged Americans to "depart now" from countries including Bahrain, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
