Teen Seriously Injured in Washington County Crash

Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A 19-year-old woman from Park Hills is recovering from serious injuries after a crash early Monday morning on Highway M near Mounts Road in Washington County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 5:51 a.m. when the driver, operating a 2001 Kia Rio, traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a culvert.

The vehicle sustained total damage. The driver, who was not wearing a safety device, was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South for treatment of serious injuries.
