Teens With Injuries After ATV Wreck

(Madison County, MO) Two 15 year old female juveniles from Fredericktown are recovering from injuries after an ATV wreck in Madison County Tuesday Afternoon. According to State Highway Patrol reports the accident took place at 1 o'clock on private property at 1521 Madison County Road 229 as the 15 year old driver of the ATV lost control of the machine. The two girls were thrown off the ATV and into a flatbed trailer during the crash. They were not wearing any safety devices as the accident happened. The report states the driver was seriously injured and was flown to Children's Hospital while the passenger received minor injuries and was taken to Parkland Hospital at Farmington.
