Traffic Accident in Iron County Monday

(Iron County, MO) A 61 year old Steelville resident, Gregory Walls, is recovering from moderate injuries after an accident involving a truck and an SUV Monday afternoon at 12:10 in Iron County. Highway Patrol Troopers say a pick up was being driven north on Y Highway, a mile north of Viburnum, by a 16 year old male juvenile from Belleview. It crossed over the center line and crashed head on into an SUV driven south by Walls. The 16 year old received minor injuries in the crash. The teen was taken to Iron County Medical Center while Walls was sent to Salem Memorial Hospital. They were both wearing seat belts when the wreck took place.
