Tuesday Fredericktown House Fire

(Cobalt Village, MO) No injuries are being reported after a wood stove flue fire at a residence in the 700 block of Mulberry Street in Cobalt Village, near Fredericktown, Tuesday night. A post on the Fredericktown Fire Department's Facebook page indicates crews were called out around 9 pm for the residential blaze. Upon arrival firemen found flames throughout the attic of the home. It was quickly contained to the attic space. The home's occupants were evacuated before the fire department arrived.
