Two Arrested in Connection to Bismarck Burglaries

Bismarck, Mo. (KFMO) - St. Francois County Deputies have arrested two suspects following a three months-long investigation into a series of burglaries at residences on Devine Road in Bismarck.

According to authorities, the investigation began in December 2024 after multiple burglary and theft reports were made at two properties owned by the same individual. Over the next three months, deputies worked to gather evidence and identify those responsible.

On March 8, 2025, deputies developed leads on potential suspects and a vehicle matching descriptions from earlier reports. The investigation led them to a residence on Ferguson Drive in Iron Mountain Lake. The woman at the residence denied consent for a search and insisted the suspects were not there, challenging deputies to obtain a warrant. Deputies established probable cause and secured a search warrant. Upon executing the warrant, both suspects, Christopher Pollard and Madeline Carmack, were found hiding inside.

Authorities also recovered numerous stolen items linked to the burglaries. Pollard and Carmack were arrested and taken to the St. Francois County Detention Center. On March 9, 2025, warrants were issued through the 24th Judicial Circuit, charging both with second-degree burglary. Their bonds were set at $15,000 each. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities encourage anyone with additional information to contact the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Office.
