Two Fires in Farmington

(Farmington, MO) There are no injuries being reported after two residential structure fires in Farmington over the 4th of July weekend. According to reports Farmington firemen were called to the first blaze just at 9:02 Saturday evening at the intersection of Vargo and Perrine Roads. The home is vacant and was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived. The State Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of the blaze. In the second incident a call came in at 4:03 am Tuesday from the 300 block of Trimfoot Terrace. Flames were showing on the outside of the home when firemen arrived. That structure was moderately damaged and the fire is being called accidental. It's being attributed to the improper disposal of fireworks.
