Two from Silva Injured in Wednesday Accident

(Madison Co., MO) A man and woman from Silva are recovering from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Madison County Wednesday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 48 year old Thomas W. Martin and 44 year old Jennifer R. Martin were riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Business 67, one mile north of Cherokee Pass at 6 p.m. The patrol report indicates that the motorcycle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck the ground.

Thomas Martin received serious injuries and was transported by Air Evac and Jennifer Martin received moderate injuries was transported by ambulance to Mercy South in St. Louis. Both were wearing a safety device at the time of the accident.
