UniTec Career Center getting Annex Building

(Bonne Terre, MO) A new annex building will become a part of the UniTec Career Center after the school received a special competitive grant from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The Director of UniTec, Jeff Cauley, says the new building is being built to ease overcrowding and make more classroom space.

Cauley says they have formed the UniTec Educational Foundation to help raise the additional money needed to build what is expected be a $500,000 facility. He adds in order for the district to be able to keep the grant portion of funding it has to be spent by May 15th so the campaign is on to raise the matching funds. The original building at UniTech was built in 1971.
