Veterans Celebration Monday at MAC

(Park Hills, MO) A special Veterans celebration will be held Monday in the Fine Arts building theater at Mineral Area College. The performance features The Mineral Area Community Band plus the Mineral Area Fine Arts Academy, and MAC, Choirs. The Director of the Community Band, Dan Schunks, says they usually perform at a school in the area on Veterans day but this year that wasn't possible so they moved the show to a day when more people could attend the performance.

Schunks adds they have almost 60 members in the community band alone. The program begins at 7:30 Monday evening and there's a $4 admission to the program. Veterans, active service members, children 12 and under, and MAC Students and staff, with an ID, get in free.
