Vietnam Veterans Honored This Week

(Farmington, MO) Veterans of the Vietnam War continue to be honored after a special breakfast event Tuesday. The program was called, "Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans", and it was presented at the Farmington VFW by Humana, Kindred Hospice, and Kindred at Home Home Health and Community Care on the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War, March 29th. A Hospice Specialist for Kindred Hospice, Kelly Farkus, says the event is especially important since our Vietnam veterans were not treated respectfully when they returned home from the war.

All veterans were acknowledged at the breakfast with a special recognition for those who fought in Vietnam.
