Washington County Wednesday Crash

(Washington County, MO) Four people are injured after a two vehicle crash in Washington County Wednesday morning just before 9 o'clock. According to Highway Patrol records the crash took place as a vehicle driven east on Highway 47, at Route A, by 69 year old Lucinda M. Cowsert of Robertsville, failed to yield to a car driven north on A by 43 year old Denver J. King of Potosi and the two vehicles collided. Cowsert was seriously injured and was taken to Mercy Hospital at St. Louis. King, and two passengers in his car, 22 year old Derrick W. DeBeouf and 22 year old Danielle W. King, both also of Potosi, received moderate injuries. They were also taken to Mercy Hospital South. Everyone in the crash was wearing a seat belt as the wreck took place.
