Wednesday Crash in Washington County

Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A 60 year old man from Potosi, Brian D. Cluchey, is recovering from serious injuries after he was involved in a one vehlce crash in Washington County Wednesday afternoon at 3:40 p.m.

Missouri State Highway Patrol records show Cluchey was headed south on Highway AA, near Overland Road, when his SUV ran off the right side of the road in a curve to the left. The vehicle became airborne and crashed into an embankment. It rolled over, struck a fence, and hit a tree.

Cluchey, who was not wearing his seat belt during the crash, was taken to Mercy Hospital South for treatment of his injuries.
