Wednesday Morning Winter Weather Advisory for Parkland

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The National Weather service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Parkland that will last until 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Counties included in the watch are St. Francois, Jefferson, Washington, Iron, Madison, Reynolds, Crawford, and Ste. Genevieve. Meteorologists with the National Weather Service say a winter storm will hit the region through late this afternoon.

This storm will have mixed precipitation with total snow and sleet accumulations of a dusting to a half inch with a light glaze of ice.

Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact travel throughout the day into this evening. Authorities say you should slow down and use caution while traveling.
