Woman Killed in Ste. Genevieve County Crash

(Ste. Genevieve County, MO) A Ste. Genevieve woman, 61-year-old Caroline Knake, is dead following a 1-car crash that occurred shortly before 5 o'clock Thursday afternoon. The Missouri Highway Patrol says that Knake was traveling on US 61, north of Nuedeck Road, when she lost control of her vehicle. It ran off the left side of the road into a ditch and went airborne before hitting crashing into two trees. Knake was pronounced dead at the scene. She was wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident.
