Kingston Uses Last Second Desperation Play to Force Overtime, Beat Fredericktown 73-70

(Cadet, MO) The Kingston Cougars were led by Junior, Cody Yates who contributed 42 points in the 73-70 overtime win, but it was Corey Kemper forcing overtime with a perimeter shot through traffic.

In the extra period, Yates and Fredericktown's Andrew Starkey would go back and forth dueling it out, however Kingston would come out on top. Starkey added 42 points in the contest as well. After the win Cougars head coach, Paul Hamilton.

With under 30 seconds to play in regulation and trailing, Hamilton called a timeout to draw up a desperation play to attempt to force overtime. His thoughts on the final play.

The Cougars improves to 4-1, while Fredericktown falls to 2-2.
