(Bonne Terre, MO) Both North County Basketball programs will feature new coaches after separate announcements made on North County Athletics’ Facebook page.
Hayden Sprenkel will become the third head coach of the boys team in as many years. He spent the 2023-24 campaign as an assistant under his father, Lance, while also running the JV program.
Hayden was an assistant coach of the Mineral Area Lady Cardinals during the 2022-23. A season that saw MAC reach the Region 16 Championship Game.
Sprenkel played at North County from 2015 to 2018 and is the all-time leading scorer in program history with 2,279 points.
Matt Bradley continues his journey around the MAAA Conference making his third stop in the Large School Conference. He will be the new girls basketball coach.
Bradley coached girls basketball at Central from 2006-2012 where is teams combined for a record of 98-88. He has also had three separate stops to coach the Potosi Lady Trojans from 2001-2005, 2013-2014, and 2017-2019. At Potosi, collectively, his record was 137-127.
Bradley has held various positions with Potosi and Central softball programs, and Potosi boys basketball.
