Potosi, Mo. (KFMO) - The Potosi Lady Trojans started their week off with a big victory over the West County Lady Bulldogs, defending their home floor in a 63-33 win on Tuesday.
Tuesday's game didn't always look like it'd be the blowout it turned out to be. West County (3-2) started out hot, taking a 9-5 lead a few minutes into the 1st quarter, but Potosi (5-0) took over from there. Six straight points for Aniston Mapes gave Potosi an 11-9 lead, a lead which they would never give up.
The Lady Trojans led 32-16 at the half, and eventually pushed the deficit out to 30, starting the running clock and bringing the contest to a quick end. Freshman Chloe Rowe led Potosi with 19 points, senior Aubree Wilson had 15. Sophomore Eden Robart had 12. West County was led by Patterson, who had 14, and Katelyn Hartley, who had 11.
