St. Louis, Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Louis Battlehawks took its first loss of the 2025 UFL season, dropping its Week 3 contest against the DC Defenders 27-15.
The Battlehawks (2-1), fell behind early, with the Defenders (3-0) taking a 12-0 lead after two field goals and a touchdown. Quarterback Manny Wilkins helped put St. Louis on the board with following a 35-yard TD pass to Frank Darby, and a Rodrigo Blankenship field goal cut the lead to 3 at 12-9. However, DC would pick up a touchdown just a few minutes before the end of the first half, leaving the halftime score at 18-9.
Two more Blankenship field goals would bring the game back to a 3-point contest at 18-15, but the Battlehawks would score no more as DC pulled away to take a 27-15 victory.
St. Louis hits the road once again for Week 4, traveling south to visit the Arlington Renegades. That game is slated for a 11:30 AM kickoff on Saturday.
