St. Louis, Mo. (KFMO) – The St. Louis Blues and National Hockey League released the 2026-27 regular season schedule with start times on Thursday.
The Blues begin the 84-game 2026-27 slate on the road with back-to-back games in Dallas on Friday, October 2 and Colorado Saturday, October 3. The Blues host San Jose on Thursday, October 8 for the home opener.
Enterprise Center is the site of 22 weekend home games for the Blues, three on Friday, 11 on Saturday and eight on Sunday. 16 of the 19 Saturday and Sunday games feature 6pm or earlier start times.
The schedule features two matchups with the defending Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes. On Saturday, October 24 the Canes come to town for a 6pm puck drop, while the Blues are in Carolina on Tuesday, January 5.
A season long six-game home stand begins when the Dallas Stars come in for a Black Friday matinee showdown at Enterprise Center and features the NHL’s all-time leading goal scorer Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals, Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins and division rivals Chicago, Nashville, and Colorado December 4, 6, and 8. The season long road trip from March 15 to 23 features stops in the Pacific Northwest and Central Canada.
The Blues wrap up the season April 10 against Utah.
An 84-game schedule allows for a balance of four games per divisional opponents.
Because of the two additional regular season games, the NHL has reduced the preseason to four games. St. Louis announced its preseason schedule earlier in July. They will face Dallas on September 19 and 21, then Chicago September 24 and 26.
