Accident in Iron County Saturday Afternoon

(Iron County, MO) A 33 year old man from Ironton, Robert T. Morris, is suffering moderate injuries after his car crashed into a utility pole Saturday afternoon in Iron County. The wreck took place at 3:30, according to Highway Patrol reports. Morris was headed south on Highway N, 5 miles west of Pilot Knob, when the car ran off the right side of the road and into the pole. Morris was not wearing a seat belt when the wreck took place. He was flown to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis.
