Annapolis Man Killed in ATV Accident

(Annapolis, MO) A man from Annapolis, 89 year old Lewis Hale, is dead after he was thrown from a side by side in Iron County Friday afternoon. Missouri Highway Patrol troopers say the wreck happened just before 2:30 on Iron County Road 118, five miles north of Annapolis. Hale turned into the path of a vehicle being driven by 35 year old Shane James of Annapolis, and was thrown from the ATV. Hale, who was not wearing his safety device, was pronounced dead at the scene.
