Car Hits Tree Injuring Bismarck Man

(St. Francois County, MO) A Man from Bismarck, 18 year old Draven M. Hicks, is suffering serious injuries after his car crashed into a tree Monday evening just after 7 o'clock in St. Francois County. Highway Patrolmen say the wreck happened just after 7 pm as Hicks was driving north on Route B, north of Crocker Court. He lost control of the vehicle and it ran off the right side of the road and hit the tree. Hicks, who was not wearing a seat belt when the accident happened, was taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis.
