County Jail Lift Station Repairs

(St. Francois County, MO) St. Francois County Commissioners are approving emergency funding for the replacement of a lift station at the county jail. The action came at Tuesday's St. Francois County Commission meeting and Commissioner, David Kater, says two pumps went out and had to be replaced immediately.

The repairs cost the county just under $20,000. In other business at Tuesday's St. Francois County Commission meeting the continuance of the policing agreement between the county and Terre Du Lac was approved and permission was given for the Road and Bridge crew to bid on a used single axle dump truck.
