No Utility Vehicles on Farmington Streets

(Farmington, MO) Farmington city officials will not allow the use of utility vehicles in town after a unanimous vote was made to keep them off city streets. That vote came at Monday night's Farmington City Council meeting. The City Administrator of Farmington, Greg Beavers, says one reason for the no vote is utility vehicles are not allowed on state roads and highways and Beaver's adds you can't travel through Farmington for any distance without crossing a state highway.

Several police officers were also hired at Monday night's Farmington City Council meeting and several resolutions were approved for plats for an apartment complex and preliminary work at Woodlawn Drive and Maple Hills Drive. The budget was also amended.
