Weekend Crash in Perry County

Perry Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A 17-year-old male juvenile and a 25-year-old man, David T. Hebert, both from Perryville, and a 23-year-old male from Jackson, Alexander T. Smith, are recovering after being hurt in a pick up crash in Perry County Friday night at 7:31 p.m.

Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show the 17-year-old male was driving the pick up west on Route E, near Perry County Road 208, when he lost control of the truck in a curve to the left and it ran off the right side of the road. The truck crashed into a ditch, struck an embankment, and hit a tree. The 17-year-old male and Smith were seriously injured. Hebert was moderately injured. He was taken to Mercy Hospital in Perryville. The 17-year-old male was transported to Cardinal Glennon's Children's Hospital at St. Louis and Smith was taken to St. Louis University Hospital.

None of those involved in the wreck were wearing a seat belt during the crash.
