Friday Washington County Crash

Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Potosi man, 58-year-old John R. Kay, is recovering from serious injuries after a one vehicle wreck in Washington County last Friday afternoon at 12:37 p.m.

Troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol say Kay was driving a pickup south on Route F, south of Bailey Drive, when it crossed over the centerline and ran off the left side of the road. The truck hit a tree, a fence, and rolled over. The pickup came to rest on it's left side. 

Kay, who was not wearing a seat belt during the crash, was taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis.
